Children's ibuprofen oral suspension is a pain and fever reducer medication that is dye-free. It is available in berry flavor and contains 100 mg of ibuprofen per mL. It is intended for temporary use in children with minor aches and pains due to the common cold, flu, sore throat, headache, or toothache. It can also reduce fever. Allergy alert: Ibuprofen may cause a severe allergic reaction, especially in people allergic to aspirin. The product is not intended for use for more than two days or to administer to children under 6 months of age without consulting a doctor. It is best to consult a doctor before use if the child has stomach problems or serious side effects from taking pain relievers or fever reducers or is taking medicines containing prescription or nonprescription NSAIDs (aspirin, ibuprofen, naproxen, or others). It contains dosing charts based on the child's age and weight.
