White Petrolatum (Jell Petrolatum)
This is a drug facts sheet for White Petrolatum manufactured by Jell Pharmaceuticals Ltd. It is a skin protectant that helps treat and prevent diaper rash, protects minor cuts, scrapes, and burns, temporarily helps relieve chapped skin and lips, helps prevent chafed skin and minor skin irritations associated with diaper rash. It should not be used on deep puncture wounds, serious burns, or animal bites. The user should change wet and soiled diapers promptly, cleanse the affected area and allow it to dry. It is for external use only and should be stored at 59°- 86°F (15-30°C), avoiding excessive heat. If symptoms last more than 7 days or clear up and occur again within a few days, the user should stop using the product and contact a doctor. The product should be kept out of reach of children, and if swallowed, the user should get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away.*
