This is a prescription-only topical gel formulated with 1.1% sodium fluoride to prevent dental caries, not as a toothpaste. It is recommended for adults and pediatric patients aged 6 years and above. After brushing with toothpaste, a thin ribbon of gel can be applied on the teeth with a toothbrush or mouth tray for at least one minute, preferably before bedtime. After use, adults should expectorate the gel and not eat or drink anything for 30 minutes for best results. Pediatric patients should also rinse their mouth thoroughly after expectorating. Precautions should be taken to avoid ingestion and kept out of reach of infants and children. The gel comes in a 2 oz. package with fresh mint flavor. Store at room temperature.
