Top Care Castor Oil
The Castor Oil U.S.P. is a stimulant laxative that provides relief from occasional constipation for adults and children over 2 years old. A single dose of 5 to 60 milliliters produces bowel movements after 6 to 12 hours of consumption. However, it should not be used for more than one week, or if there is rectal bleeding or failure to have a bowel movement after the use of a laxative. It is necessary to consult a doctor in case of such symptoms. The product is odorless and tasteless and can be taken on an empty stomach or with a juice for better taste. The drug should not be used when abdominal pain, nausea, or vomiting is present, without doctor direction. If you have noticed a sudden change in bowel habits that persists over a period of two weeks, ask a doctor before use. Pregnant women and breastfeeding should consult a health professional before taking this laxative. In case of accidental overdose or accidental use by children, contact a Poison Control Center immediately. It is available in a 4fl oz bottle and should be stored tightly closed, away from excessive heat.*
