TopCare Wild Cherry Saline Laxative is a magnesium hydroxide-based product that helps relieve occasional constipation and generally produces bowel movement. However, it is recommended to ask a doctor before use if you have kidney disease, magnesium-restricted diet, stomach pain, nausea or vomiting, a sudden change in bowel habit that's over 14 days, or if you are taking a prescription drug, as this product may interact with certain prescription drugs. If you need to use a laxative for more than one week, it's also advisable to ask a health professional before use. The product has no stimulants and its maximum recommended daily dose should not be exceeded. The dosage can be taken once a day, preferably at bedtime, in divided doses, or as directed by the doctor. The product should be followed with a full glass of liquid and kept at room temperature and away from freezing.
