However, it is recommended to ask a doctor before use if you have kidney disease, magnesium-restricted diet, stomach pain, nausea or vomiting, a sudden change in bowel habit that's over 14 days, or if you are taking a prescription drug, as this product may interact with certain prescription drugs. If you need to use a laxative for more than one week, it's also advisable to ask a health professional before use. The product has no stimulants and its maximum recommended daily dose should not be exceeded. The dosage can be taken once a day, preferably at bedtime, in divided doses, or as directed by the doctor. The product should be followed with a full glass of liquid and kept at room temperature and away from freezing. The product should be removed from the reach of children, and in case of overdose, medical help or contacting the Poison Control Center is recommended.
