MAALOX® Regular Strength Antacid Suspension is an oral suspension USP designed to provide fast relief from acid indigestion, heartburn, sour stomach, pressure and bloating. The active ingredients include alumina, magnesia, and simethicone. Each 10 mL dose contains magnesium 165 mg and sodium 6 mg. It is important to shake well before use and not to exceed 80 mL (8 doses) in a 24-hour period or use the maximum dosage for more than 2 weeks. The product should be kept tightly closed and stored at room temperature. It is not recommended for children under 12 years of age, pregnant or breastfeeding women, those with kidney disease or a magnesium-restricted diet. If symptoms persist for more than 2 weeks, it is best to seek medical advice.*
