This is a drug fact label of Ultra Strength Antacid Tablets containing Calcium Carbonate as an active ingredient. The tablets provide relief from acid indigestion, sour stomach, upset stomach or heartburn. It is advised not to take more than 7 tablets in 24 hours and not to use the maximum dosage for more than 2 weeks unless under the supervision of a doctor. It is also not recommended to take the tablets for symptoms that persist for more than 2 weeks unless advised by a doctor. If an individual is presently taking a prescription drug, it is recommended to take advice from the doctor or pharmacist before use as antacids may interact with certain prescription drugs. The bottle contains 160 chewable assorted flavored tablets. The inactive ingredients include adipic acid, D&C Red No. 27, D&C Yellow No. 10, dextrose, FDEC Blue No. 1, FO&C Yellow No. 6, flavors, magnesium sterale, malodextrin, starch, sucralose.
