The active ingredient in each 30 mL dose cup is Bismuth subsalicylate 525 mg, which can relieve nausea, heartburn, indigestion, gas, belching, travelers’ diarrhea, diarrhea, and an upset stomach due to overindulgence in food and drink. People with Reye's syndrome, ulcers, bleeding problems, or allergies to salicylates (including aspirin) should not use this product. Children and teenagers recovering from chickenpox or flu-like symptoms should also avoid it. It's recommended to drink plenty of clear fluids to prevent dehydration.
