Docosanol 10% (Docosanol 10 Percent Cream Ene 1)

Docosanol 10% (Docosanol 10 Percent Cream Ene 1)
Docosanol Cream, 10% is a treatment for cold sores and fever blisters. It has been shown to shorten the healing time of cold sores and help individuals look and feel better faster. The cream contains 10% docosanol, which helps to reduce symptoms such as tingling, pain, itching, and burning. It is recommended to use the cream at the very start of a cold sore outbreak, when the first signs of a tingle, redness, bump, or itch are felt. Adults and children 12 years and older can use Docosanol Cream, 10%. It should be applied five times a day until the cold sore is healed. Cosmetics, like lipstick, can be applied over the cream, but it is recommended to use a separate applicator to avoid spreading the infection.*
