It is used for the treatment of minor cuts, scrapes, and removal of phlegm or other secretions related to occasional sore mouth. For external use only, it should not be applied in the eyes or on large areas of the body for more than a week. A doctor should be consulted before use in the case of deep or puncture wounds, animal bites, or serious burns. Mouth symptoms should improve within seven days; if they don't, a doctor should be consulted. The product should be kept out of reach of children, and if swallowed, medical attention should be sought immediately. The solution should be applied to the affected area, swished around in the mouth for at least one minute, and then spit out. The product can be used up to four times daily after meals and at bedtime or as directed by a dentist or doctor. The formulation is not recommended for children under the age of 12, and children under the age of two should consult a dentist or doctor before using.
