This is a health care product used as an antiseptic to prepare the skin for surgery or as a topical first aid antiseptic for reducing the risk of skin infection in minor cuts, scrapes, and burns. It contains Povidone Iodine USP as an active ingredient with a concentration of 10% w/w, equivalent to 1% free iodine. This product is intended for professional and hospital use and guaranteed to maintain sterility as long as the package remains unopened. The package contains 3 swabsticks which should be used before the expiration date or one week after opening under medical supervision. The product has direction on usage for preparing treatment areas prior to surgery.
