Calamine Spray (Meijer Calamine Plus Spray 50 074me)
This is a drug facts label for a skin protectant and external analgesic product with active ingredients Calamine and Pramoxine HCI. It is used to temporarily relieve pain and itching associated with insect bites, rashes, minor skin irritations, and minor cuts. It is also effective for drying oozing and weeping of poison ivy, poison oak, and poison sumac. The product comes in a spray form and should be shaken well before use. It has warnings for external use only, and intentional misuse can be harmful or fatal. The product should not be used on children under 2 years of age without consulting a physician. The inactive ingredients include benzyl alcohol, camphor, and fragrance, among others.
