It can temporarily relieve minor aches and pains due to headaches or the common cold, muscular aches, toothaches, premenstrual and menstrual cramps, minor pain of arthritis, or can reduce fever. However, this medicine has warnings that severe liver damage might occur if one takes more than 4,000 mg of acetaminophen in 24 hours, used with other drugs containing acetaminophen or if it mixes with more than 3 alcohol drinks every day. The medicine is not suitable for people allergic to acetaminophen or any of the inactive ingredients in the product. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should ask a health professional before use. Children under 12 years cannot use the medicine. Furthermore, the medicine comes with a dosing cup that should be used. If symptoms persist for more than ten days, one should seek medical help.
