This is a description of a product called Abreva, used for treating cold sores and fever blisters. The main active ingredient is docosanol 10%. It works to shorten healing time and the duration of symptoms such as tingling, pain, burning, and itching. The product is applied to the affected area on the face or lips. It is suitable for adults and children over 12 years old. However, children under 12 should consult a doctor before use. The product contains benzyl alcohol, light mineral oil, propylene glycol, purified water, sucrose distearate, and sucrose stearate as inactive ingredients. It is advised not to use near the eyes or inside the mouth, and it should not be shared to prevent spreading infection. If an allergic reaction occurs, usage should be stopped immediately, and medical help should be sought. It is recommended to use the product 5 times a day until healed, for up to 10 days.*
