The package contains 160 unit-dose tablets, each containing 500 mg of metformin hydrochloride. The dosage information is provided in the enclosed package insert. The package is not child-resistant, so a child-resistant container should be used if dispensed for outpatient use. The tablets should be stored between 20° to 25°C (68° to 77°F), with excursions permitted between 15° to 30°C (59° to 86°F).
