Chikungunya Vaccine, Live (IXCHIQ) is a solution for intramuscular injection. The vaccine comes in a single-dose vial of Lyophilized Antigen Component, Live, and a syringe of Sterile Water Diluent Component. It is stored in a refrigerator at 2°C to 8°C (35°F to 46°F), protected from light, and should not be frozen. The Lyophilized Antigen Component is reconstituted with the Sterile Water Diluent Component to form IXCHIQ. After reconstitution, a single dose is approximately 0.5 mL and should be used immediately. The vaccine is intended for individuals 18 years of age and older. The packaging includes a carton with specific dimensions.*
