ADAPALENE Gel 0.1% is a pharmaceutical product manufactured by Glenmark Pharmaceuticals Ltd in India for PruGen Pharmaceuticals in Scottsdale, AZ. It is a topical medication used for external use only to treat acne. The usual dosage requires applying a thin film once a day to the affected area at nighttime. Each gram of medication contains adapalene USP 0.1% and consists of carbomer homopolymer, edetate disodium, methylparaben, poloxamer 182, propylene glycol, purified water, and sodium hydroxide. ADAPALENE Gel 0.1% comes in a 45-gram package and is not for ophthalmic use. It must be stored at a controlled room temperature between 20° and 25°C and must not be frozen.
