This is a description and directions on how to use EveryDay Epsom Salt Magnesium Sulfate USP, which is a saline laxative that brings short-term relief for constipation. The package contains 4 lbs (1.8 kg) of the product. The drug facts active ingredient is magnesium sulfate USP 100%, which generally produces bowel movement in 12 to 6 hours and relieves occasional constipation. Customers should not use more than directed, and overdose cases must seek medical help. Adults and children who are 12 years old can dissolve 2-4 level teaspoons in a full glass of water; children aged 6-11 may dissolve 1-2 level teaspoons in a full glass of water, while not recommended for children under five years. Each teaspoon contains 493 mg of magnesium. Epsom Salt, when used externally, can also be used for soaking solution, warm compress, reducing pain and swelling, or relief when muscle aches arise. If there is irritation, it may be discontinue use and consult with a doctor, and it may not be used if pregnant or diabetic. *
