This is a drug fact sheet for Senna with Docusate Sodium Tablets, used to relieve occasional constipation. It contains 50 mg Docusate Sodium and 8.6 mg of Sennosides per tablet. The user should take the tablet preferably at bedtime or as directed by a doctor. The starting dose and maximum dose for adults and children are provided. It is not recommended to use this medication for longer than a week or use it if pregnant or breastfeeding without consulting a doctor. The fact sheet also contains warnings to not use if currently taking mineral oil or if experiencing stomach pain, nausea, vomiting or other concerns. If rectal bleeding or failure to have a bowel movement occur after taking the medication, users should stop use and consult a doctor. Tablets contain inactive ingredients such as colloidal silicon dioxide and magnesium stearate. Each tablet contains very low sodium and calcium.*
