This is a fluoride treatment gel called Fluotide I60, containing 1.23% fluoride, available for professional office use. It is a thixotropic gel used for the prevention of dental decay by filling trays and air-drying teeth before biting down for one or four minutes. It is only for in-office patient use and should not be used unsupervised at home. The product comes with warnings to avoid swallowing and to seek immediate medical help or consult a Poison Control Center in case of accidental swallowing. It should be stored at controlled room temperature between 15°-30°C, and should not be frozen. It contains inactive ingredients such as citric acid, flavors, and xanthan gum.
