PremierProRx is a medication used for intramuscular or intravenous use only. Each 1 mL of the medication (when reconstituted) includes ziprasidone mesylate, which is equal to 20 mg of ziprasidone and 47 mg of methanesulfonic acid solubilized by 204 mg of sulfobutylether β-cyclodextrin sodium (SBECD). The drug is only for single-use and must be reconstituted to 20 mg/mL using sterile water for injection. Shake the medication until it is completely dissolved, and it will create a colorless to a pale pink solution. The usual dosage is specified in the accompanying prescribing information. Store PremierProRx at 20°C to 25°C to protect it from light.*
