This is a warning label for a compressed USP oxygen gas cylinder. It contains gas under high pressure and can cause or intensify a fire as it is an oxidizer. It is important to read and understand all safety precautions before handling, keeping away from combustible materials, using and storing it outdoors or in a well-ventilated place. A backflow preventive device should be used with compatible equipment that is cleaned for oxygen service. It should not be used on patients who have stopped breathing unless in conjunction with resuscitative equipment. This product is administered by properly trained personnel for oxygen deficiency and resuscitation, and for all other medical applications it is Rx only.
