Trisoft (Trisoft)
Tri-Soft Softening Solution is an emulsifying concentrate with antiseptic properties. It is designed to be used on the skin before instrument reduction of hyperkeratotic lesions. The solution contains benzalkonium chloride in a phenylmercuric nitrate solution. Directions state that 1 part Tri-Soft concentrate should be mixed with 5 to 16 parts water and applied to hyperkeratotic tissues for 3 minutes before reduction or debridement. It is for external use only. This product is distributed by Clinical Therapeutic and comes in an 8 fl oz bottle that makes one gallon of solution.
