Each gram of mupirocin cream contains 20 mg (2% w/w) of mupirocin equivalent to 21.5 mg (2.15% w/w) of mupirocin calcium USP in a mineral oil cream base. This cream is for dermatologic use only, and should be applied a small amount to the affected area three times daily for 10 days. Patients should be re-evaluated if they do not show a clinical response within 3 to 5 days. The cream should be stored at or below 25°C (77°F) and be kept away from freezing. To Open, use cap to puncture seal. Mupirocin cream is available in a 14g tube and is produced in Israel. See accompanying prescribing information.*
