Carton-10g (Vancomycin Carton 10g)
This is a Pharmacy Bulk Package of Vancomycin Hydrochloride for Injection that needs to be further diluted before use. The solution should be reconstituted with 95 mL of Sterile Water using aseptic technique. The resulting solution contains 500 mg of Vancomycin per 5 mL or 1 g Vancomycin per 10 mL. Prior to reconstitution, store it between 20°-25°C (68"-77°F), and after reconstitution, it must be used promptly or discard the container within 4 hours. The pharmacy dispenses aliquots from the bottle using a suitable sterile dispensing set into infusion fluids under a laminar flow hood using aseptic technique.
