This is a drug called Guaifenesin, which is an Expectorant used to relieve Chest Congestion, Thins and Loosens Mucus. The drug helps to clear the bronchial passageways, making coughs more productive. It contains inactive ingredients like carbomer homopolymer type B, hypromellose, USP, magnesium stearate, NF, microcrystalline colloidal silicon and sodium starch glycolate. The drug is available in the form of 20 extended-release tablets containing 600mg of Guaifenesin. It is recommended to take one or two tablets every 12 hours and not to exceed four tablets in 24 hours. It should not be used for children below 12 years of age. It is necessary to consult a doctor before use if you have a cough accompanied by too much phlegm, persistent or chronic cough, smoking, asthma, chronic bronchitis, or emphysema.*
