It can be used orally or rectally, and each 60 mL dose contains 15 g of sodium polystyrene sulfonate USP along with sorbitol solution USP, aluminum, purified propylene glycol US, and around 20 g of sorbitol. The sodium content of each 60 mL dose is 1.5 g (65 mEq). The package insert should be consulted for dosage information. It should be stored at 20°-25°C (68°-77°F), but excursions are allowed to 15°-30°C (59°-86°F). It should be dispensed in a tight container, as defined in the LS. Its GTIN number is 00346287006015.*
