First Aid Antibiotic Ointment is a medication in the form of an ointment that can help prevent infections from minor cuts, scraps, and burns. The active ingredient in the ointment is Bacitracin Zinc 500 units which serves as a first aid antibiotic. It is important to use the ointment externally only and not to use it in the eyes and over large areas of the body. The ointment is not recommended to be used for longer than one week unless directed by a doctor, and it is advised to consult a doctor if you have deep or puncture wounds, animal bites, or serious burns. Inactive ingredients in the ointment include hard paraffin, liquid paraffin, and white soft paraffin. Before using this or any medication, read all directions on the carton which contains important information. The product is distributed by Universal Distribution Center and made in India. Keep the ointment away from children and in a safe place at room temperature ranging between 15°-25° C (59°-77°F).
