MEDI-FIRST is a Pain Reliever/Fever Reducer product in a tamper-evident unit dose package that contains Ibuprofen (NSAID) 200mg to temporarily relieve minor aches and pains associated with menstrual cramps, headache, toothache, muscular aches, backache, and common cold, among others. The medication may cause severe allergic reactions, including hives, swelling, asthma, shock, or blisters. The package comes with a stomach bleeding warning; it contains NSAID, which may cause severe stomach bleeding. The medicine is not advisable if you have a history of stomach problems or bleeding problems, taking other medicines containing prescription or non-prescription NSAIDs, or if you have three or more alcoholic drinks every day while using the product. Other important information before using the product includes asking the doctor or pharmacist if under a doctor's care for any serious condition or taking any other drug. It is a pregnant woman's precaution and is not to be used if at 20 weeks or later of pregnancy, unless directed by a doctor. The product should be kept out of reach of children and must be initially taken with food or milk if stomach upset occurs.
