Nitrous Oxide One (Riwsnitrousoxide)
This is a label for medical gas with safety precautions, warnings and instructions for use. It includes information on indications, effects, dosages, frequency and duration of administration, hazards, contraindications and side effects. The gas is intended for use in producing respirable mixtures with sufficient oxygen concentration to sustain life. The label warns that this is an oxidizing liquid and gas, which can cause rapid suffocation and may have adverse effects. The user is advised to keep away from sources of heat or combustible materials, and to use equipment that is clean and rated for cylinder pressure with a back flow preventive device. Cylinder temperature must not exceed 52°C (125'F) and the cylinder should always be secured in an upright position. The label also includes first aid instructions for use in case of frostbite or inhalation, and a reminder not to remove the label. The label is distributed by Linde Gas North America.*
