Healing Ointment with petrolatum 1 is a skin protectant that helps to heal diaper rash, dry, chapped, or irritated skin. It is hypoallergenic and non-irritating, and it has been tested by pediatricians. The ointment contains petrolatum 41%, which temporarily protects minor cuts and scrapes, and relieves chapped skin. It helps protect from the sun, and should only be used externally. When using this product, avoid contact with your eyes. If contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with water. If the condition worsens or does not improve within 7 days, stop use and see a doctor. This ointment should not be used on deep or puncture wounds, infections or lacerations.
