This is a 26 fl oz bottle (769 ml) that is formulated in a factory and distributed by Walmart. The recommended dose is 2-4 tablespoonfuls (TBSF) per day, preferably at bedtime, divided doses, or as directed by a doctor. It is important to drink a full glass (8 oz) of liquid with each dose. The active ingredient is magnesium hydroxide at 1200 mg per 15 mL tablespoonful. It is important to consult a doctor before use if you have kidney disease, magnesium-restricted diet, stomach pain, nausea, or vomiting. If there is a sudden change in bowel habits lasting over 14 days or if you are taking a prescription drug, ask a doctor or pharmacist before use. It is not advisable to use this product for more than one week, if pregnant, breastfeeding, or under six years of age.
