The active ingredient is acetaminophen, and it comes in extended-release tablets that should not be taken more than ten days or more than five caplets per day, as overdoses can result in severe liver damage. If an allergic reaction occurs, or if symptoms get worse or last more than ten days, a physician should be consulted. The tablets should be taken every five hours without crushing or chewing, and minors should only take them under a doctor's supervision. It contains inactive ingredients such as titanium dioxide, pregelatinized starch, and microcrystalline cellulose.
