This is a drug label for a nasal decongestant tablet containing Phenylephrine HCL as an active ingredient. It temporarily relieves nasal congestion due to the common cold, hay fever, or other upper respiratory allergies. The tablet should not be used if the seal is broken or tampered with. Individuals with certain medical conditions such as heart disease, high blood pressure, thyroid disease, or diabetes should consult a doctor before use. It is also advised to not use the tablet if taking prescription monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI) drugs or for 2 weeks after stopping the MAOI drug. The recommended dose is 2 tablets every 4 hours for adults and children 12 years of age and over, not exceeding 12 tablets (60 mg) in 24 hours. Children under 12 years should consult a doctor. The inactive ingredients of the tablet include microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate, silicon dioxide, dicalcium phosphate, starch, stearic acid, and croscarmellose sodium.*
