Robitussin Cold Cough + Chest Congestion DM is a cough suppressant and expectorant that helps relieve temporary cough due to minor throat and bronchial irritation as often occurs with a cold. It helps loosen phlegm and thin bronchial secretions to facilitate bronchial drainage. This drug should not be used if you are taking a prescription monoamine oxidase inhibitor or have a cough that lasts for more than 7 days, is relapsing or is associated with fever, rash, or headache. It is intended for use in adults and children 12 years and over, with a dosage of 10 mL every four hours, not to exceed six doses per day.
