Robitussin Mucus+Chest is an expectorant that loosens phlegm, which helps clear congestion and bronchial. It is used to relieve mucus & chest congestion. Before using, consult a doctor if you have chronic coughing or if the cough occurs with smoking, asthma, chronic bronchitis, or emphysema. If cough lasts more than 7 days, comes back, or is accompanied by fever, rash, or persistent headache, stop use and ask a doctor. This product should not be used in children under 12. Adults and children over 12 should take 10-20 ml every 4 hours. Each 10 ml contains 200 mg of guaifenesin. Inactive ingredients include caramel, citric acid, FDAC red #40, flavor, glucose, glycerin, high fructose corn syrup, purified water, saccharin sodium, and sodium benzoate. The product should be stored between 20-25°C (66-77°F) and not refrigerated. If an overdose occurs, seek medical help or contact a Poison Control Center.
