Tukol is a multi-symptom medicine that is designed to provide temporary relief to adults (12 years and over) suffering from chest congestion and nasal congestion. The active ingredients in each 5 mL dose of Tukol include Dextrometorfano HBr, 10 mg, Guaifenesina, 100 mg, and Fenilefrina HCI, 5 mg. This medicine is not recommended for children under 12 years of age. Tukol must be taken only after consulting with a doctor or pharmacist if the patient has any health concerns like heart disease, high blood pressure, thyroid disease, or trouble urinating due to an enlarged prostate gland. Pregnant and breastfeeding women must seek medical advice before using Tukol. Tukol should not be taken in conjunction with any oral nasal decongestant or stimulant, and the recommended usage must not exceed six doses in any 24-hour period. If the symptoms persist for more than 7 days or are accompanied by fever, patients must stop using Tukol and consult a doctor immediately.*
