The ointment provides relief from poison ivy, oak, and sumac, and can be used to treat or prevent diaper rash. The product should only be used externally. If symptoms worsen, or if the product is swallowed, the user should contact a doctor or the Poison Center. Users should keep the ointment out of reach of children. The product should be stored at room temperature. The label provides directions for use, including application to the affected area every 2-4 hours, and more frequently for diaper rash. It also recommends prompt diaper changes and thorough cleaning of the diaper area.*
