NDC 50383-667-30 is a lidocaine and prilocaine 2.5% cream, which is only for topical use and not for ophthalmic use. It is recommended to keep the cream in place on the skin but a protective covering is not necessary for absorption. The box does not include occlusive dressings, however, Tegederm™ dressing is recommended to keep the cream in place. The cream should be stored at a controlled room temperature of 15-30°C (50-86°F). The cream does not contain preservatives and the prescribing information should be followed. The tube should be dispensed in a tamper-resistant container with the application instructions.*
