Nayzilam (midazolam) nasal spray is a medication for nasal use only. Each carton contains 2 nasal spray units, with 1 dose per unit, each dose containing 5mg of midazolam in 0. mL of spray. The pharmacist should dispense the enclosed medication guide to each patient and the entire carton is to be dispensed. It is important not to test or prime before use, and not to use if the nasal spray unit appears damaged. The usual dosage and full prescribing information can be found in the package insert. The medication should be stored at a controlled room temperature of 20°C to 25°C (65°F to 77°F), with excursions permitted from 0°C to 15°C to 30°C (59°F to 86°F).*
