Triadine is a 10% topical solution that works as an antiseptic and germicide. It can be used before surgery to reduce bacterial infection on the skin, and as a first aid antiseptic to prevent the risk of infection in minor cuts, scrapes, and burns. However, it is for external use only and should not be used in eyes, on individuals who are allergic to iodine or as a first aid antiseptic for more than a week without doctor's direction.
