This is a drug fact sheet for an antiseptic solution. The solution is intended only for external use to prevent infection in minor cuts, scrapes, and burns. The product contains 10% Povidone Iodine USP as the active ingredient. The user should apply a small amount of the product to the affected area one to three times daily. The product may be covered with a sterile bandage. The user should not apply the product to individuals who are sensitive to lodine. The product should not be used in the eyes, on large areas of the body, or on deep or puncture wounds, animal bites, or serious burns. If the condition persists or becomes worse, the user should discontinue use and see a doctor. If swallowed, medical help or Poison Control Center should be contacted immediately.
