TRIADINE is a povidone-iodine scrub solution that reduces the number of micro-organisms prior to surgery, helps reduce bacteria that can cause skin infection, and prevents infection in minor cuts, scrapes, and burns. The antiseptic product is for external use only and warns not to use over large areas of the body or longer than one week as it may cause irritation and redness. It is recommended to stop use and ask a doctor if symptoms persist and to keep out of reach of children. Surgical hand preparation should be maintained with a millimeter free edge, and five millimeters of Triadine should be applied to hands and forearms. Furthermore, the product may be used as an antiseptic for preparation of the skin prior to surgery and should be kept sterile by covering it with a bandage. The product also contains citric acid and sodium phosphate as an active ingredient.*
