The systems contain a polyester backing film, a siliconized PET release liner, and a highly permeable, clear, polyacrylate adhesive membrane attached to a nonwoven polyester fabric. The medication guide should be dispensed to each patient. The pharmacist should caution patients that the product may cause drowsiness and should be removed before undergoing an MRI procedure. The medication and the patch should be kept out of reach of children, stored below 77°F (25°C), and protected from light.
