POLYTUSSIN DM is an antitussive, nasal decongestant, and antihistamine liquid medication with cotton candy flavor. Each teaspoonful contains Dextromethorphan HBr, Phenylephrine HCI, and Pyrilamine Maleate. It temporarily relieves symptoms due to upper respiratory allergies or common cold, such as runny nose, sneezing, cough, and nasal congestion. However, patients with breathing problems, glaucoma, or difficulty urinating need to consult a doctor before using this medication. It is distributed by Poly Pharmaceuticals and has no sugar, dye, or gluten. The recommended dosage must not be exceeded. If patients are taking a prescription MAOI, they should not use this product.*
