This is a medication that should be used with caution and with professional advice if the patient is taking any medication for blood thinning or has diabetes or arthritis. It may cause temporary discoloration of the tongue. The ringing in the ears is a side effect, especially in diabetics. It is not recommended for pregnant or breastfeeding women and should be kept away from children. It is to be dissolved in the mouth and taken every 1-2 hours, and not more than two days, depending on the patient's age. The tablets are not to exceed 16 in 24 hours. It contains calcium and salicylate, among other ingredients.*
