Label, 1072oxygen, Compressed (Oxygen 01)
This is a warning label for a compressed oxygen product produced by Air Liquefaction, suitable for emergency use by trained personnel for oxygen deficiency and resuscitation. It is not for use on patients who have stopped breathing unless in conjunction with resuscitation equipment. High concentrations of oxygen over a long duration, without monitoring its effect on oxygen content of blood may be harmful. The label indicates that the product should not be handled until all safety precautions have been read and understood and should be stored away from combustible materials, grease, and oil, and valves and fittings should be kept clean. The product is an oxidizer and may cause or intensify fire, as well as contain gas under pressure, which may explode if heated. The valve should be opened and closed slowly and should be protected from sunlight when the ambient temperature exceeds 52°C (125°F).
