Each extended-release tablet contains 5 mEq (540 mg) of potassium citrate, USP as monohydrate. Each 5 mEq tablet is debossed with "536" on one side and plain on the other side. Potassium Citrate Extended-release Tablets USP, 5 mEq are dispensed in tight containers and should be kept at a controlled room temperature. This medication should be kept out of reach of children.
