Emergency contraceptive tablet levonorgestral 1.5mg. This tablet is used to reduce the chance of pregnancy after unprotected sex and is not for regular birth control. It prevents ovulation and may also prevent fertilization or the attachment of the fertilized egg to the uterus. It should not be taken if already pregnant or as a regular birth control method. It is important to consult a doctor or pharmacist before use, especially if taking medication for HIV, tuberculosis or epilepsy. It may cause menstrual changes, tiredness, nausea, headaches, stomach pain, breast pain, vomiting or dizziness. In case of overdose, contact Poison Control immediately. Store at 20-25°C.
