Adrenalin® is a sterile solution containing epinephrine injection, used for intramuscular or subcutaneous use but not for ophthalmic use. It is distributed by Par Pharmaceutical Companies and each mL contains 1 mg Adrenalin {epinephrine} dissolved inWater for Injection, USP with sodium chloride, sodium hydroxide, tartaric acid, disodium edetate, 0.5% Chlorobutanol as a preservative with a shelf life of 30 days. The solution should not be used if it's colored or cloudy, or if it contains particulate matter. Dosage should be strictly followed as per the full prescribing information. The solution should be stored between 20 to 25°C and protected from light and freezing.*
